A: I use the bean setting for high pressure and adjust the time accordingly.
Q: How does this product compare to an instant pot?
A: The instant pot is a better quality product. I have both but the insignia did not last even 30 days. Returned and bought another instant pot.
A: I use the Bean setting for High.
Q: I have a recipe that says “press Manuel pressure 6 min”. What setting would I use on this?
A: Use the beans/lentils option and manually adjust your time.
A: Pressure is created by boiling a liquid inside the cooker. The trapped steam increases the pressure and allows the temperature to rise.
A: Bean Chili is a pressure cooker mode. I'm not sure about the other buttons as the instruction manual doesn't define any of the button functions. Very, very few pressure cookers get up to 15psi. This one probably gets between 9 and 12psi, but we'll never know because the instruction manual doesn't state this.
A: The pot that the food goes into is stainless steel, I'm guessing the "other" is talking about other components on it, which seem to be plastic.
Q: where can I buy inner removrable cooking pot?
A: Best Buy sells these online and some of the bigger BB stores have them in stock.
