• They should work with original HomePod. Thread yes is only available through HomePod mini and they will work with apple 4k tv.

• HomeKit enables your Apple TV & HomePod Mini to work with the bulbs. The first generation HomePod should be able to as well due to built in “Hey Siri”. For example, I can say “Hey Siri, turn off the bedroom and office lights.” and she will.
