I put two of these in my 200 year old house. That is the beauty of the Nest - it does not require any fancy wiring.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I got on their website and looked at what wires i already had. It didnt match up w a couple of them so i hesitated to buy the thermostat. When i decided to get it, the installation directions were a breeze. The wires matched up w the labels they had except one. I called the number in the guide and the tech helped me out. It was fast and so easy. They had great customer service! I didnt have wifi when i first got it and it still worked. I know have wifi and can control from my phone. I love it! I would first get on their website and send a pic of your wires you have now. I think they are pretty compatible with most existing thermostats.
