“What's the difference between a google home mini and a google nest mini”

As others say, the Nest Mini is an improvement on the Google Home Mini. I believe the only reason to get the Google Home Mini is if you wish to use it with a Google Home Mini that you already have in a stereo pair. Stereo pairs need two Mini devices that are the exact same model, so the Google Home Mini needs to still be available for those who already have one and want to get another for a pair.

the nest mini is just the upgraded model. better sound, a mounting cutout in the back, and lighting indicators to let you know you're touching the right place to adjust the volume. totally worth it! :)

It’s almost identical. The Nest can be mounted to the wall. (I purchased the mini when it first came out and immediately went to hang it on the wall, but couldn’t. I ended up using double sided tape. With the Nest, Google resolved the previous design flaw.

Not to much. Google bought Nest and has been changing the branding. The biggest thing they now have a hanger in the Nest Mini.

Really nothing that I can see or detect. The Nest has a better speaker, but to my ear I can not tell the difference.

goggle home mini is the older version after the merger of NEST and GOOGLE they changed the name to google nest mini but they are basically the same thing they both work the same way both are compatible
