A:AnswerI did a bunch of research before buying the google nest mini 2nd gen, so here’s my take. I already have 3 gen 1 minis in my home, and have even gifted a few. I can positively say that the 2nd gen is MUCH better. It’s a lot more sensitive to “hey google,” so much so that I’ve tried mumbling and muffling my voice just to test it and it worked! There is a mute button on the 2nd gen that comes in handy. It also has a little spot on the underside that lets you hang it up instead of leaving it on a table- this furthers its ability to hear you better.
