• As long as the TV has Chromecast built-in or is running on Google's TV software, than yes, you can. If it doesn't have that, than all you need to do is buy a Chromecast.

• I have a Samsung Smart TV, it works for me. I needed to add the tv to SmartThings app which is login with my Google Account.

• You can use Chromecast and connect it to the HDMI port on your smart TV and be able to change the volume and stream movies using voice commands on the Nest Mini.
