Yes, you can. I use Hue lights and a hub to control lights. Once configured a voice command works perfectly.

You can. You just have to connect your smart bulbs to it using the google home app from the google play store. Then say "ok google dim my light to 30%." Super easy and fun!

It will work if you have smart lights. I would suggest the GE bulbs. They work really well with the google products.

Depends on who the lights are from? If it is LIFX then yes it integrates with that system. If it is a lamp in a plug like wemo then no it won't dim it, but it can turn it on and off. But you can say the key words like "Ok Google" and it will process what you ask.

You can easily turn smart switches or smart outlets on/off with this. To DIM lights, though, you need smart lightbulbs — and as long as you have smartbulbs, then yes definitely Google works to dim ours.
