Nest Wifi replaces your current router to provide reliable Wi-Fi coverage throughout your home. It needs to be connected to your modem via the WAN port with an Ethernet cable. If your AT&T U-verse is a modem/router combo, we recommend disabling the Wi-Fi functionality of the combo to avoid a Double NAT case which may cause connectivity issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YOU CAN SIMPLY PLUG INTO ROUTER AND YOU'RE READY TO GO. I WOULD ALSO RECOMMEND SHUTTING OFF THE WIFI ON AT&T ROUTER TO AVOID CONNECTIVITY ISSUES. YOU SHOULD ONLY HAVE 1 WIFI SYSTEM. I AM ALSO AN AT&T UVERSE CUSTOMER AND DID THE SAME... NO ISSUES.
