We recommend that you put your Nest Wifi between your modem and switch instead. You can plug the switch into the LAN port of the Nest Wifi Router to avoid connection issues.

Probably not unless your modem integrates the function of a router so that you can rewire and reconfigure the wireless router to set it up as access point
