“I have google fiber AND TV. If I get this product, can I connect it to my current Fiber box, disable the Wi-Fi on it (I think I might be able to), and then use the mesh, or will it have hissy fits with two routers connected to each other?”

You can do what you are describing. That is how I have connected mine, and it works beautifully--MUCH better than the wifi from the Fiber box. Speed is fantastic all over my house, and it hasn't dropped a single time in eleven months; the Fiber box used to drop signal all the time.

Yes! You can definitely connect Nest Wifi Router to your Google Fiber modem/router combo using an Ethernet cable. You may then wirelessly connect your Nest Wifi Points to Nest Wifi Router to create a Wi-Fi mesh network in your home. It's important that you set your combo in bridge mode and disable its Wi-Fi functionality to help avoid connectivity issues caused by a double NAT scenario.
