But it has such a simple appearance and so few places to hook in a wire I was embarrassed! It did extend the range to my wife’s art studio so that her speed connection increased Significantly. But , I forgot I had to use a range extender to get the signal better to my office. I probably would have saved $500 by buying and trying a second range extender. I’m glad this is an anonymous post! Can’t speak about a basement Issue.
