You don’t need a key. Ever. You have your code that works all the time. You can remotely lock/unlock with the app on your smartphone. You can give your guests unique codes for one time use or for a particular time period that you choose. If you must keep a key put it on another door

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The short answer is No. There is no option with this system for a physical key. I *suppose* you COULD have BOTH this system and a physical key lock, but why bother? The whole concept behind this is to do away with a physical key. :) You can use your cell (with the Nest App) to unlock the door and/or up-to a 6 digit code (whatever number is memorable for you). If you have your cell - you've got the only "key" you need. Or - write the number down somewhere that you'd have access?
