Yes you can change the code remotely, Nest allows you to set up guest codes that you can assign on a permanent basis, or for a specific duration of time. For example, if you rented to someone for a weekend, you could have it expire at 1pm on Sunday or similar. You can also remove the guest code access at any time remotely.
