Please try again later.Without knowing the specific model of your cameras, I would have to assume that if your cameras connect with a single network cable, then it is likely they require POE (Power Over Ethernet) in order to function. This switch is not a POE switch and would not provide the power necessary to operate the cameras if my assumption is correct. I would consult the documentation for your cameras and verify whether the cameras require POE or POE+ and search for a switch that supports the requirements of your particular cameras. I found that Best Buy carries an 8 port POE switch by Netgear. Have a look at the GS108LP100NAS and compare it with this 16 port switch to note the differences. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Plug the 16 port switch into the wall and connect an Ethernet cable between the switch and your modem. This way any cameras you connect to the switch will also be connected to your modem and will have access to the internet.
