No it requires a router with wifi to connect to.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a extender from an existing router. I use this with the AC5300 as the main router. This device gives extended coverage and won't quiet as the primary router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was struggling to stream via Apple TV or via my Smart TV's interface. Constant buffering (or just flat not playing) using my old Cisco n router. Replaced it with a Linksys EA6900 router and now have super fast speeds and absolutely no problems streaming. Definitely worth the money.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This will not work as a main router. It is meant to extend the range of your main router. I can recommend the NetGear AC1750 or AC1600 as a good main router. The speed is excellent and I haven't had any issues with connection. Great initial range coverage. You will pay more up front, but the peace of mind is worth it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This will not function as a primary router. It can only receive a wireless signal from a router and extend it further.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.won't work , you need a better router and then get a wifi extender, but if you get a good router you won't need to buy a new wifi extender, and router are sometimes cheaper.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You'll need a router - this simply extends/boosts the signal coverage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need a wifi router for your internet and this extender will connect to it over wifi. Once setup you can use the extender wifi ssids and avoid connection directly to your wifi router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a range extender, not a router--you need a router to get online wirelessly. This will only allow you to extend that router's signal to far away areas that cannot get a good signal on their own due to walls, distance, etc. But YOU NEED A ROUTER first.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is an extender, it does not function as a router. You would need to get a router to connect with it. If you choose to buy this and use your "garbage" router, that would be a bad decision. I suggest you buy a better router first then if you want increase the range then buy this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
