• Only the item it is plugged into will benefit from the wifi signal this item receives. It is a receiver only; you must have a wifi router within range for this item to receive signal from which then feeds to your device (laptop, tablet, etc.). On its own it does nothing without a router to feed to it.

• It will give you the wifi to the device it is plugged in. Will work with only computers since you need to install a driver.
