“How do I shut the system down when I am not using it ? Hello, I recently purchased the wireless Arlo system. So when I'm finished using my camera system, I'd like to shut it down. So if I turn off the button on the base, does that mean the cameras are off as well? I just want to make sure my battery's are not being used at that time. Please correct me if I'm shutting the system down incorrectly.”

• Hi Cheryl, simply log into the arlo website or use the arlo app on your phone. go to the camera you want to turn of and click on the settings button on the top right. there you can turn off the camera without having to turn off the base station.

• The iOS app lets you disable or enable the cameras.

• the only way to save batteries is to open the camera up so they are not activated. I asked the same question to netgear and that was the answer I got
