• There is no telephony function (VOIP) native to the modem-router. I connected an OOMA box to one of the RJ-45 ethernet jacks and it gets an IP address and provides the voice connectivity.

• I do not believe so. I know for Comcast, if you want phone service, you have to purchase their router.

• No. They need to install a box for that but they do not charge you additional for it as they probably include it in the package.
