By the way, it is the Xfinity modem/router and not Infinity. This device didn't do me justice, but made my speeds slow way down because it is incompatible with the Comcast Xfinity standards. I got the separate Zoom cable modem, as well as the Belkin router. These two seem to do the best. I have previously tried the Motorola equivalent, and it was a dud as well. I hope that this helps you. I know that it may be more cost effective to have everything built into one unit ,but to get the best functionality without spending $200 this is the only way that I have found.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it can replace your Comcast modem/router. The Netgear modem is a two in one plus you can connect additional router to it for a stronger signal, not that you will be needed to do so because it perfect all on its own.
