Will this work with Verizon DSL service? I have Verizon DSL. The modem is always loosing connection, at least once a week. Have to tunr off and back on all the time. Streaming tv signal is not always reliable. Sometimes the buffering is so bad, I just give up. Now with an X Box one gaming system I'm afraid it will be unbearable! Will something like this boost the connection / wi fi signal?

No this is a cable modem, not a DSL modem.

However, be sure to check compatibility with Verizon. Usually at the Best Buy store they have the list there and it is also usually on the box.

One other thing is the speed of service you actually are supposed to get. My prior service was DSL (Windstream) but I was only about to get about 20 mbps in my location so I had switched to cable for higher speeds. But location definitely matters.

DSL is over phone line not coax so this router modem will not work for you as it requires a coax connection not RJ11 that telephone lines use.
