Can an additional router be plugged into this? I want the integral router to be the primary router communicating to a wifi power outlet powering the second router used by the kids. I can then remotely power off the kids router at their bedtime. null

Actually this router has a guest network option, I would consider configuring the 'guest' network features for the kids, and just shut off the guest when it's bedtime...

Otherwise, what you are looking for is possible, but very difficult amd expensive for the average person

A second router can be configured for use with the NETGEAR - Nighthawk AC1900 Dual-Band Router as the primary.
