I think you need to ask Best Buy about that. If they carry it they can tell you the difference between the two. And Which would fit your needs.

I would suggest that you ask Best Buy. They had this one on the shelf and it was compatible with my internet provider.

I bought the c7000 Because it was strong enough for using Roku TV's and Sonos sound system.
