• Don’t be afraid to call them and ask. And if they don’t Best Buy will glady refund. Another good thing about the nighthawk is the modem isn’t tied to one company. So you should be in good hands .

• Best way to find out is to call Adams Cable. If you use them for telephone than this modem/ router will not work. It does not have a connection for the phone. It should be fine if you are using it for internet. BTW, this device combines the modem with the router. So you can return your modem to Adams and save that monthly fee.
