No phone jacks with this unit, but there are other units from Netgear that do have. (more $$$)

There is no phone jack but I got ride of my phone from Comcast and got Magic Jack work the same and plug right in to this modem.. and instead of $10 a month I pay 20 a year..

no. You would need to purchase a GATEWAY instead of a ROUTER to get the phone capabilities. Gateway is a device - not like a Gateway computer.
