It is rated at 1900 mps download speed (which is more than a Gig). My download speed went from about 30mps to around 90mps. It could be more (and has been depending on time of day and who all is on the same band at one tims), but we don’t have a faster (or fastest) plan from our provider. I don’t think you’d go wrong with this unit!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.according to the Best Buy specs, your modem should be good up to 686 mbs download, however, I have discovered that is just the POTENTIAL best speed. Your modem is also rated AC1750, which again indicates a max potential speed of 1.7 gbs "combined" data transfer. I recently upgraded to c7000 AC1900 model, my provider has me at 100 mbs and the modem topped out @ 125 mbs when the provider set it up and tested it. Reality has it more like 12-20 mbs under operating conditions - the provider/Ethernet congestion/etc affect the actual download speed as I'm sure you're aware. Did your provider test your modem speed for you after the speed upgrade?
