A:AnswerWith this device, you need cable services to get internet. The Wifi will only work once you have cable internet set up and cable connected to the device.
A:AnswerI wouldn't know the specifics of Spectrum Fiber but I'm pretty sure the service might use a fiber optic connector. Which usually they connect but wifi might still route through this modem/router combo.
A:AnswerDepends on your network but I would say no. AT&T moved away from the coaxial years back as it’s dated tech to them. If you used it solely for a router sure but at that point just go for a high end router.
A:AnswerI don't think this works with that... when you go to bestbuy they will have cable modem routers for your demographic area... in my area i don't have that fios would have more information
A:AnswerIt will have its own password on it to start but then you’ll be able to change it to whatever you want afterwards so if you want to keep whatever you had previously you can. However I did have to let xfinity know that I no longer needed to rent their router anymore so that they could stop charging me for that and also they sent a signal to the one I purchased and made the switch. Definitely recommend buying your own. Should have done this years ago when I first got wifi!
