“If I have an Arris DG2460A with Cox cable service. This is a modem/router combo. I pay for 150 speed. I get good speed through ethernet but the wifi is intermittent. Will this router improve my wifi? How do I turn off wifi on the Arris to connect this?”

You can alway have your cable provider send you just the modem and then plug this in. Saved me the $5/month fee to have wifi. I guarantee this will be a better wifi router than what your currently have. It even comes with a phone app you can use to access your router and make changes to settings. Good luck!
