“I am looking at the R7000 and R7300. Is the 7000 better? The model numbers would suggest 7300 is better, but the specs look better on 7000. I need VPN, and want to improve range over my Asus RT-N56U”

• I would consider any router not supported by GeekSquad since they won’t help you when it fails and becomes a junket for a high price router. Try another brand and store to purchase from.

• My R7300 keeps working with everything since 2017. I tried a newer Netgear router that failed in two days.
