“Does this router (AC1900) include a Firewall that can be used permanently? I was told that it is a temporary/trial use for 30 days. After that, I have to purchase it for $150/1yr, $200/3yr, or $250/lifetime. This router will not work w/o firewall.”

You can block any websites or any content type or password protect content and websites so you can access them off your device but no one else can.
