• This wireless router is absolutely compatible with the Motorola SurfBoard SB6141 Cable Modem. This is the cable modem that I purchased along with my Netgear Nighthawk router and they have been working together harmoniously for me for nearly two years now.

• Yes. I have it connected to a Motorola SB6183 and it should will with any of the Surfboard modems.

• Yes, this will work with any modem that has ethernet ports. -- i have worked for a cable company for 8 years. I have installed that modem of your several times. The Surfboards are my preferred modem.

• Yes this router works very well with the Motorola surfboard as long as its not a combo modem/router it has to be a modem only so any router will work with it.

• yes, that's the cable modem I'm using for my Comcast internet connection. Very stable. Just make sure you go through the express internet setup on the router first time or you won't see an internet connection.
