• Some of these routers has built in modem but you probably have to get it from your ISP. I know my cable company had Orbi with built in modem so I am sure your able to get one with a modem

• Performance is always better when you use a separate modem. Trust me in that if your goal is to have the best speeds and reliability, you want a separate modem.
