Use what you need, more is not always best. 9000 sf is a large area. Satellite limits by WiFi standard WiFi 5: You can add up to 6 satellites, but only 2 should be in a "daisy chain" (satellite connected to another satellite instead of the router). WiFi 6, 6E, & 7: Up to 4 satellites are recommended. For more than 4 satellites, Netgear recommends using a wired Ethernet backhaul for each satellite beyond the fourth to maintain optimal performance. Important considerations Performance: Adding more satellites than recommended can lead to performance degradation. Wired backhaul: To support a larger number of satellites and ensure better performance, especially in WiFi 6 and newer systems, use a wired Ethernet backhaul connection for satellites beyond the recommended limit.
