“Does this system work well with iPhones and iPads? Some one mentioned they had trouble with phones so I want to be sure. Also can I connect ring video doorbell and lorex cameras? As well as a POE switch?”

We have had no problems with iPhones, iPads or any of our equipment. Have 12+ items linked. App is very easy to use & monitor devices. If you have kids, there is a free parental control program that you get called Circle. I don’t know about your other questions, am not familiar with those.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It has a whole load of problems. Never update firmware. If you want to get this Orbi. You’ll never get the speeds you pay for through Orbi. Get Nighthawk if your thinking about NETGEAR. Orbi needs a lot of work by NETGEAR to make it great. It’s a great concept. You can get the same thing using repeaters or bridges NETGEAR offers. With better speed results.

I'm not sure I can answer every question you have, but here's what I have connected: 2 MacBooks, 1 Mac desktop, 2 iPads, 2 iPhones, 9 Sonos speakers, one Insteon system (with at least 15 wifi switches, outlets, ringers), 5 Alexa devices, and 1 ring camera. It all works better than ever. Good luck! And with their return policy, I'd say it is worth the risk. It is the easiest system I've ever setup in our house.
