This adapter basically acts as an extension of your modem/router. It transmits the same signal as your modem/router. So, if you're struggling while directly connected to your modem/router, this adapter won't fix your issues since there is no real speed increase. I would recommend looking into a better internet plan.

We got to the point to where it would not load Amazon video at all and it would take forever for Netflix to load but now it loads quickly and has cut the buffering time to virtually nothing.
