I don't think so. When researching wifi extenders, many posts warned not to plug these into surge protectors because it would slow down performance.

The surge protector supposedly prevents the network signal from getting through cleanly. If you get the model with the extra outlet, you could plug a surge protector into it for other devices, but this device itself will remain vulnerable.
