• You can boost the connection if you connect this router using an ethernet cord. If you want to extend the wireless without a cable you will have to purchase a repeater.

• Depends on what you mean by "boost". If you want to setup a repeater so you can extend the current wireless access, that's not really what this device is intended to do.

• Yes! That was our challenge as well. When well placed it has made ALL the difference for a home addition where we kept the exterior brick for the inside walls.
