We also have DirectTV and have no problem with this router. It should work fine on satellite internet. The only thing I would caution you on is the "on demand" may not work based on the internet provided from the satellite. You will need to contact the provider to verify they are compatible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We just switched to DishNet and the tech set up the wireless when he was here for the install. You can go to your settings on your Satellite menu and look for Internet connections or something like that. From there you should be able to search for your router and the system should set up configurations. On your tablets, did you scan for wireless connections? I would think the tablets would find any wireless signals that are available. If it is finding the signal, maybe the router channel needs to be changed. I had that happen to me once way back when and tech support helped me out. Tech support is also a great resource to use at Netgear.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have hughs net also and it works for me
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.try changing settings in your tablets to the new router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this router and honestly you'd probably be better off getting one with more options & a stronger signal. It maxes out at around a 2,000 sq ft house or less if you have neighbors close by. It's plenty fast enough if you're directly plugged in, but I would put money towards a higher end device.
