Cable TV providers generally use the round connectors, Ethernet is a more square plastic connector like an oversized phone cord. Your cable provider modem may have both styles to feed your router. If the cable provider modem only has a round connector this won't connect to your 7000 as is only receives an ethernet (square type) connector in the WAN port. Ofter your cable provider can or will give you an updated modem with both style jacks if you ask.
