Not likely to have a strong connection. You’ll pick it up but it probably won’t be very good.

You should be able to get reception. Although, if you’re near your netgear, but in a metal building (like a metal shed) the signal will not reach And we had this issue. We ended up having to purchase a second netgear; to put inside the metal shed. That way, we are able to have a signal inside the building now! Yay

I am connected all the way across my street in the neighbors yard. I live in a cul-de-sac and have no issues with connectivity in any of my neighbors' yards that are right next to me or across the street.
