Looking for a Long Range Wireless Router for a 2 story house? My home office is upstairs but also have computers downstairs and use iPad and 2 iphones and a laptop. My wireless router started dropping signal, and now I can't connect at all on wireless.
The router is D-Link DIR-615. It's about 4 years old.
I think I need a new router but want one that is long range due to it being located upstairs.
What would you recommend?

This router has the best range I've ever used. I get a good signal 60+ feet away. My router is on the first floor in the front of the house and I have no problem with signal in the upstairs back of the house. This router has not dropped a single time since I bought it. It's awesome for the price.

If I was going to setup my personal house I would use what I currently have in my house. My home is 3300 square feet and right smack dab in the middle I have a Ubiquiti M2 HP Picostation. They are relatively easy to program and will completely cover your whole house and the surround area outside. It's completely password protected and can be firewalled as well for security. Look it up on YouTube if you want to see how it works and what it looks like. They are small and can be hidden just about anywhere ya want. Mine is in my attic!
