“Had this model, but older, for years. Worked perfect for me. Had a power surge from lightening I think and it was one of four electronics hit. I bought the netgear AC1750 not knowing this one was still available! Does anyone know the difference?”

The only difference is if your equipment can support it, 600 vs 1750. Also, the 600 can service up to 75mb down with ease, but put a gigabit switch behind it to connect other devices.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Netgear AC1750 is good, this one has better range though. Also again, this one has Open source for setting up a vpn as added security. In this day and age of all the "hacking", one can never be to safe. The Netgear does not have open source.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The AC1750 has a transmission rate of 1750 Mbps. The N600 is rated at 600 Mbps. The 600 should be more than enough speed for the average family.
