Yes .Down load the NetGear Genie that will help you set up your router. You can get in touch with NetGeart tech support that is a Big Help. I have a samsung tablet with the help of NetGear tech support they connect my IP address to my router IP address and it work . You want have to pay for wifi hot spot.

I hear the AC technology is only as good as the devices that you have connected to the router. If your stuff is older then "N" should work fine...Playing Xbox one online then you need ac tech. In this case think about now rather than thinking to far ahead into the future...A router usually lasts maybe two or three years. HINT..for ten bucks get the Best Buy extended two year replacement warranty.
