Nope... all wireless routers are simply transmitting an internet signal that comes from the modem which comes from your ISP. So if you want a signal that will carry netflix and/or other streaming services, there has to be an internet signal at some point in the chain. Hope that helps!

No. You must have some type of internet service and at least a modem in order to get Netflix or to surf the web. Any free standing device that produces a wireless signal (or wireless access point) cannot also provide an internet connection on its own.
