• This plugs directly into a 120 volt outlet. Only supports 120 VAC.

• This just plugs into an ordinary US socket in your house. You must set it up before use. You will need a computer or some devise on your home network to teach the device the Wi-Fi signal. Then you just plug it in and turn it on. Look for the new Wi-Fi signal, and log in(if you have set up a password with your original connection, the password is the same).
