• If your problem is distance from the router, then yes this might help. If your problem is your router speed, then no this won't help.

• I bought it for this very reason. It improved latency. You still won't have seamless play, but it stopped the random disconnections from the network for me on my Xbox One.

• Depending on your upload/download speed, may need to change your NAT and UpNp settings. I have this plugged in next to my consoles and ran Ethernet direct from it and it has helped a lot.
