It should help. You do not connect via wire to your router or computer. You plug into AC power, then it connects to your current WiFi network, then offers its own signal as an extension to your current WiFi network. You can then connect to your current WiFi network if you're on that end of the house, or to the extender if you're working in the other end of the house(for instance).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your PC has Wireless then place the Extender somewhere between your PC and your Router then have your PC connect to the extender which will be listed in wireless devices as YOURSSID_EXT If your PC Doesnt have wireless lcate the extender in an outlet near your PC set it up and then run a length of Ethernet cable (Cat6) from your PC to the Extender and you will be good to go
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should work. Just plug it into a wall outlet halfway between your router and PC and follow instructions to establish a connection

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This will provide you with good reception for any wireless devices. My router is on the opposite end of my house and I was having issues staying connected to the internet. This device fixed that issues now I have great Wi-Fi connection throughout my house.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Range extenders are just that - you place them within range of your router with wireless support and they connect to the router and re-transmit as needed, although under a different network name. In your case, if your router has say 100' range and you want your PC 150' away, and assuming your PC has wifi capabilty, put the extender around 80-90' from the router, get it set up (takes 5 minutes) and then connect the PC to the extender. You can use a cable to connect a device to the extender if that's convenient and what's needed - I use a cable to connect a printer because the printer's wifi is flaky.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will connect to the router. Yes it will help you extend your wireless reception.
