Sure. If you bridge the router and the extender via Ethernet, the extender will automatically act as an AP and only 1 SSID will be shown. But if you set the extender as WiFi repeater, 2 SSIDs will appear.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this is the opposite of what you are describing. This device provides a wireless network drop for you - from an already existing wifi connection. What you're looking for is basically another wireless router, not an extender.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This product works with out cables and cords. Connects with a touch of a button. Great for dead spots on the home. Just place it in a hallway or area in between the dead spot and the router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It might, but if you are going to connect it to a switch, why wouldn't you add another wireless router? I'm sure there is one that is around the same price that would give you wireless on that end of your home. If this isn't an option, instead of plugging it into your switch, install it somewhere where it would boost the wifi signal in your current wireless network range.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes you can as long as the line is plugged into your router
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you need to buy an access point, or convert an old router. There are some cheap access points available, or chech into a low cost single band router.
