“I need an ethernet port that will provide internet capability 200ft away? I have a security system that requires an ethernet source at my business. The security system is about 200ft away from my home wireless router. I have Roku at my business now and it picks up the wireless signal pretty good. My question is will this device provide an internet source via the Ethernet port once it is connected wirelessly?”

• I am not sure on the distance. However, I used this in our house, one floor above the wireless router, and was able to connect a streaming DVD player with no problem. I hope this helps.

• You will need to find a solid central location that is on the outskirts of your primary wifi source. This may take a few attempts but this does rang far enough for your system.
