You can under 2 easy conditions. 1. The extender must be plugged into an outlet where it recieves a good wifi signal from your router. 2. You have a 300ft cat6 cable or multiple cables with eithernet connecting clips inbetween each one. Side note: If you run the cable to that building and buy another extender (so 2 total). Plug the cable in the other extender at the building in the woods. You would then have wifi all around this building in the woods :) hope I answered the question!
