Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Cynthia. Thank you for reaching out! This is an AC Powered wireless system, as you noted, so each camera must be connected to a power source. We include 1 camera power adapter per camera. Each person's setup will undoubtedly vary. For instance, I have outlets outside my home that make plugging the cameras in relatively simple. Other customer's may have to run an electrical cord to the closest power outlet. While these are indoor/outdoor cameras, they should still be placed under some type of minimal protection such as an eave or awning. Many homes have power outlets in these locations. Additionally, in the near future, we will be launching some battery powered cameras that can be added to this system. That would help alleviate issues with hard to reach areas. Please try again later.To MFG: actually, 'battery' is only helpful if solar charged lithium ion. is that your plan? and also note, there are many reasons we can't mount these things under shelter. 'waterproof' would be your second biggest improvement... really interested in this product, but corners of house are NOT under eaves. Also, we are in a development of 'queen block' construction, concrete block. we don't damage the outside block, if possible, these houses are literally 'bomb' and 'hurricane' shelters, and we want ot keep it that way. An awesome 'gorilla' type glue/velcro mount would be phenomenal. And there is your free design improvement limit for the day. HarriettHomeowner out. :)
